Efoils are powered by an electric propulsion system

controlled by a bluetooth remote control attached to the wrist. 

A motorized hydrofoil is mounted under a surf board

and lifts it out of the water as speed increases.

 

The rider controls the board by shifting his weight and adjusting balance to maintain a controlled ride .
